Terms of Use
Effective 1 August 2026 · Version 1.0. These terms govern your use of the x2y SDK (x2y-dev-tools-sdk) and this documentation site.
01Licence
The SDK is released under the MIT Licence. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense and sell copies of the Software, provided the copyright notice and permission notice are included in all copies or substantial portions. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.
02Acceptable use
You agree not to use the SDK to violate any applicable law or third-party right, and not to remove or alter licence notices. Use in safety-critical systems (medical, military, nuclear, aviation) is expressly unsupported.
03No warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the SDK will detect every issue, operate without error, or meet your requirements. Predictive and refactoring outputs are advisory aids to — not substitutes for — professional engineering judgement.
04Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, x2y Devs Tools Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the SDK or this site. Aggregate liability is capped at USD $50, or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, whichever is greater. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
05Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes are first subject to 30 days of good-faith negotiation, then binding arbitration under the NCIA Rules in Nairobi, in English, before a single arbitrator. Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction are unaffected.
